About us

Diamond Cross is one of the last historical ranches in Jackson Hole, WY. It is a place for those who share a passion for the rugged beauty of the great outdoors. Walter Feuz homesteaded the ranch. A member of the Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame, he was a famed bronc rider and lifelong cowboy.

MILLION DOLLAR GRASS

Jackson Hole became one of the most expensive valleys in America. Most ranching families sold. Golf courses and condos went up where the cattle used to be.

Diamond Cross is one of the last historic ranches in Teton County still owned by the family that homesteaded it. Staying that way is a decision we make every year. It is not something that just happens.

Our cattle graze on million dollar grass. The apparel helps pay for the grass.

You have already seen this place.

For decades Marlboro brought photographers here to shoot the Marlboro Man. The mountains behind those ads are the ones out our kitchen window. We were here before the campaign. We are still here after it.

The Horses

10% of profits from every order goes to the horse rescue.

For decades people across the West have brought us horses when nothing else worked. Horses that bite, bolt, or will not be caught. Most of them are not mean. They are afraid, and fear is just as dangerous.

Grant Golliher has spent his life on this. The method came from watching wild horses and learning how they actually speak to each other. Nothing forced, nothing cruel. A horse that follows because it chose to is a different animal than one that obeys because it is scared.

The work is slow and it does not look like much from the fence. You give a horse a reason to trust you. Then you wait.

We do not see lost causes. We see second chances.
